Youngchan Ko(b.1989) explores various sources intertwined to a place, including stories, folklores, testimonies, archives, and fantasies to reassemble their fragments into an experimental video. He recognizes a Place as the closest witness to past, present, and future events that occur in that location. As self-taught inspector, he explores these sites and conducts interviews the locals, slowly uncovering stories that have long been marginalized and forgotten.

고영찬(b.1989)은 한 장소와 관련된 설화, 민속, 증언, 기록, 환상 등 다각도의 리서치를 통해 얻은 자료들을 재구성한 실험 적인 영상작품을 만들고 있다. 인간이 설계한 목적과 기능을 벗어난 혹은 애초에 그러한 가능성이 배제된 ‘제멋대로인 장소(unruly place)’들을 재주술화하는데 관심을 둔다. 독학 수사관으로서 특정 장소를 탐사하고 증인들을 탐문하며 주변화된, 잊혀진, 지역적이고 사적인 이야기를 발굴해 나간다.
